Meet Amber

Your Partner in Health, Not Just Your Provider

I’ve spent over 15 years in healthcare, and in that time, I’ve learned one thing for sure… people don’t just need a provider; they need someone who listens.

I started Alpine Wellness because I was tired of seeing patients lost in a system that treats healthcare like a numbers game. Short appointments, rushed visits, endless insurance red tape. It all stood in the way of what truly matters: connection, education, and trust.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I created this Direct Primary Care model to bring healthcare back to what it’s meant to be — personal, accessible, and centered on you. I love being able to take my time with patients, get to know their stories, and help them feel empowered in their own wellness journey.

When you work with me, you get more than a provider, you get a partner who’s invested in your health and your life.

Why Alpine Wellness Feels Different

  • Time That’s Truly Yours

We limit our patient panel so appointments are unrushed, questions are answered, and care feels personal.

  • Accessible, Affordable Labs & Medications

Your wellness shouldn’t come with surprise bills or long waits. Labs are drawn in-house, and soon you’ll have access to common medications at wholesale cost.

  • Care Beyond the Clinic

We look at your whole health story, not just symptoms, and support you with education, guidance, and follow-up every step of the way.

  • Empowerment & Partnership

We believe knowledge is power. You’ll leave visits confident, informed, and supported, even if you’re not perfectly “well” yet.

  • Simplicity Without Compromise

No middlemen, confusing insurance rules, or red tape, just straightforward care that focuses on what matters: you.

  • Support When You Need It Most

We provide direct access to your provider via phone, text, or portal messages. When life throws a curveball, you won’t be left waiting days for answers, we’re here to help you navigate health challenges quickly and confidently.

I absolutely love my doctor!

“She takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and creates a personalized plan that actually works. I’ve seen incredible results with my hormones and weight loss, and I finally feel like myself again.”

 Frequently asked questions

  • DPC is a membership-based model where you pay a simple monthly fee for unlimited primary care visits, direct access to your provider, and most routine services — without dealing with insurance billing, copays, or hidden fees.

  • No, by cutting out insurance middlemen, I can focus entirely on my patients — not on billing codes, prior authorizations, or rushed visits. This allows me to spend the time needed to actually listen and care for you.

  • Traditional clinics bill your insurance for every visit, which often limits visit time and adds layers of complexity. In DPC, you pay your provider directly, allowing for longer visits, easier access, and more personalized care.

  • Most primary care needs! Routine visits, wellness exams, chronic disease management, sick visits, minor procedures, and communication by phone, text, or portal are all included. As well as once yearly screenings labs: lipid panel, cbc, cmp, and an A1C. Additional labs are deeply discounted compared to traditional settings.

  • Yes. DPC covers your everyday primary care needs, but you’ll still want insurance (or a health-sharing plan) for hospitalizations, surgeries, or emergencies. Many patients pair DPC with a high-deductible or catastrophic plan.

  • Yes! I offer telehealth visits when appropriate for convenience and accessibility.

  • You can call, text, or message through the patient portal. You’ll get direct communication with me — no waiting on hold or talking to front office staff.

  • I’ll help coordinate your care and communicate with specialists, but hospital and specialty care are billed separately.

  • Often yes, but it depends on your plan. Many members successfully use HSA/FSA funds — starting in 2026 membership fees can be applied to your deductible.

  • Yes. Memberships are month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. I want you to stay because you love the care, not because you’re locked into a contract.

  • Insurance pays for “sick care.” DPC is “real care.” You get direct access, longer visits, more prevention, and a provider who actually knows you — for less than most people spend on a monthly phone bill.

  • My office is currently located at 505 SW Mill View Way Ste 100 Bend, OR 97702. I gladly service patients throughout Central Oregon.
